15 hours of practice with Spanish. This should be things that you find enjoyable. Examples:
- 1) Watch movies in Spanish. Watch the movie in Spanish and put on the Spanish subtitles. This way it is all in Spanish but the subtitles make comprehension easier. (Mínimo 30 min. por día). Yabla.com needs subscription. Telenovelas ( Quinceñera, La reyna del sur, Revelde)
- 2) Talk with friends in Spanish ( 10 minutos 3 veces por semana) Poscast La vida loca
- 3) Read the news in Spanish EL PAIS.com, El universal.com, etc(3 veces por semana-5 min. )
- 4) Listen Spanish music. – if they use this one they need to look up the lyrics and make sure that they understand what they are listening to. ( una canción diaria – 3 minutos)
- 5) If students visit a Spanish speaking country that counts.
You may mix and match any of these activities to get to 15 hours. Keep a record and be able to report back what they did. - 6) Repasar-estudiar todos los vocabularios anteriores en Quizlet de Esp.1,2,3,4 clases, Hacer juegos, etc. ( estudiar un voc. por día en conjuguemos.com o Quizlet)
- 7) Español 4 Review – Estudiar los siguientes vocabularios cap. 9 y 10 del texto de continuemos regresando haremos una prueba y examen del capitulo 10 la segunda semana de como el 22-25 de agosto.
- 8) Español 3 Estudiar vocabulario-gramática Unidad 6 Lecc.1 y 2
You should do a good portion of your hours related to listening (movies, TV, music, talking with friends.)
